St Mary of the Angels, Brownshill, Gloucestershire

Fabric inspection and recommendations to a church by W. D. Caroe.

Manifest were commissioned by the Friends of Friendless Churches to undertake a fabric inspection and schedule of recommendations for this lovely little country church.  Described as “Romanesque Arts & Crafts”, the building was designed by renowned architect W.D. Caroe in the 1930s.  Its simple interior belies a series of complex issues, including insects nesting in the shingle-covered bellcote, timber and ironwork repairs.
