Internal church re-ordering works.

Manifest were approached by the board of trustees of Christ Church, a fine Neo-Gothic/late Georgian building established at the very end of the 18th century as one of the first proprietary chapels for those unable to afford pew rents. Further work to the church took place in the 19th century, inspired by the so-called Oxford Movement when churches realigned themselves to forms of worship redolent of the mystery and pageantry of the Middle Ages.

We have been involved in the primary stages of conceptual designs for the re-ordering of the church, working with its complex series of historical developments, to make a place fit for worship by an inclusive and liberal congregation in the 21st century. The emphasis is on sensitivity and minimal disruption while allowing new layouts and spaces for a variety of sacred uses.
