Timber Hewing and Ecology Course in Dragon Wood

Participants are invited to join us on a two-day course in the ancient woodland of Dragon Wood in western Gloucestershire, for a two-day course on traditional timber hewing, supplemented with presentations on woodland ecology, standing tree selection and demonstrations of felling.  We will be joined by renowned oak framers John and Henry Russell, and woodsman Joe Weaver (Wye Coppice).

Course costs are £198 for both days.  We are delighted to be working closely with the Carpenters’ Fellowship to organise this course, and the Fellowship have generously offered half-price bursaries for their members (limited availability – please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to apply for a bursary).
