Yurts & Composting WCs

An unusual community project.

Manifest were commissioned to obtain planning permission for two yurts, to be placed in a remote location in Oxfordshire, to support the work and visitors of a local charity.  Being almost entirely off-grid (the only service present on site is mains water at very low pressure), Manifest were asked to work with specialist composting WC builders to provide a self-contained and very low impact development suitable for the charity’s work.  Planning permission was achieved in July 2020.
