New Corner Bookshelves

A new bookshelf for bibliophiles, scribed to its corner in a listed dwelling.

Manifest were commissioned to design and construct a new set of fixed bookshelves, stretching from floor to ceiling, in a listed dwelling in Cambridgeshire.  Each individual piece was scribed against the existing walls – we never expect old buildings to be level, square or plumb, and here our expectations were amply justified.  Building on our experience of scribed oak framing, this only adds pleasure to the task.
